Video Overview
Human Motion Suit
The need to measure human motion and to estimate it’s kinematic and dynamic parameters in a real time appears in many fields such as medicine, sport, art and entertainment. PJAIT, Silesian University of Technology and Textile Research Institute developed Human Motion Suit that is inexpensive and easy to customize for many applications. The suit is based on IMU sensors and includes industry grade software that enables acquisition, visualization and analysis of human motion data.
- Ideal for Human Movement Research with unprecedented performance involving biomechanics, physical therapy, movement disorders, sport training optimization;
- Allows to Complex Multiperson Motion Capture and Processing for Entertainment, Games Industry;
- Useful for research applications involving: activity monitoring, energy expediture, fall prediction, altitude and heading, orientation tracking.
Where is the difference?
- camera-less full-body human motion capture solution without lost markers or occlusion, to use anywhere, indoors and outdoors
- unobtrusive – designed to be subtle, stylish, easy to use and comfortable, don’t distract people or draw unwanted attention during normal daily activities
- multiple person capture - motion capture session up to 50 people using one PC with each unit maintaining precise time synchronization between suits in a network
- full kinematics of each body segment – by highly sensitive triaxial gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer allows to capture every subtle twitch
- always on time - real-time processing and flevible recording methods directly to studio or to the dedicated cloud for later use; continuosly stream data from HMS acting as a participant in remote animation sessions
- software suite – cloud based software solution with real-time control preview, process and record of multiperson motion capture. Complete cross-platform SDK for easy integration with custom application software.
